根據國外最新報告,世界上高達82%的財富由僅僅1%的人所掌握,而社會底層的最窮困人口,財富卻不增反退。這些情形同樣的也反映在台灣,青年世代因房價高騰、薪資水平跟不上物價上漲幅度,漸漸淪為窮忙族,工作多年卻無法擁有屬於自己的棲身之所。相對的,有錢人不需依賴工作所得,只要

用現有資本錢滾錢,多數百姓一輩子望塵莫及的天文數字便輕鬆入袋。

綜觀現時台灣,少子化、社會結構老齡化、貧窮化等現象逐年浮現,而政府的經濟政策卻一再地向財團靠攏,部分大企業受惠於減稅且合法避稅,獲利不斷提高;相反的,勞動階層卻深受壓制薪資成長的不當環境所苦,可支配所得年年減少。

年底即將選舉,面對「富者越富,貧者越貧」的急迫問題,我們將邀請任教於台灣大學的張正衡教授與黃克先教授,分別以人類學、社會學角度深入探討,由以中產階級為主流的社會,逐漸演變成只剩貧窮及富裕的極端M型社會。
